    If you or someone you know has a disability and you live in or visit the Marrickville area, then Council wants to hear your opinion on how accessible and inclusive the Marrickville local area is. Have your say now by taking our survey.  The survey opened on Friday 5 September and closes at 5pm on Tuesday 30 September. Also join us in a workshop to assist Marrickville Council to plan and improve accessibility to its services and activities. Council would like to hear from anyone in the community with an interest in access and inclusion, residents, businesses and service organisations ....Read more

    The closing date to have your say about proposals to update flood maps in the Marrickville Local Government area has been extended. - read more and have your say here.
    Also the Community Info Sessions are now over. If you missed out on attending a session and would like to make an appointment to speak with a flood consultant about your property please contact Andrew Newman on andrew.newman@marrickville.nsw.gov.au or 9392 5370.

    Marrickville Council is upgrading four playgrounds within Newtown.  These include Alice Street playground, Matt Hogan Reserve playground, Darley Street playground and Norton Russell playground.
